Vintage Italian Exvoto - Belly

Vintage Woman's Belly Exvoto. You will recieve 1 Old Italian Exvoto, also called Milagros in Spanish. These Italian exvotos are very rare, and now difficult to find.

The term ex-voto derives from the Latin phrase ex voto suscepto, meaning “from the vow made.” Such offerings have ancient roots, tracing back to Roman and Etruscan times.

These were sourced from Southern Italy, near Naples. Most were collected in the 1990's, but some can be traced back as far as 100 years old. Almost all are silver plating over brass. Patina and finish will vary significantly with age. These are beautiful collectors items, very rarely seen these days.
